2021 would have been better skipped entirely, not fast-forwarded.

I mean seriously, the Earth writers’ circle really had it out for us this year. Of course, I’m being euphemistic in that sentiment in some regard. But, as I sat back and observed, I noticed that 2021 was a hard year for a lot of people—and I know firsthand that it was hard for me, too.
